When WoW came out, it had 800k registrations in the first 3 months. When War came out, it had 500k in the first week, and 750k the next month. And in some polls, War did better than WOTLK, since they came out at roughly the same time.


And yes, it's glitchy, but it's a lot better than when it first came out, and the Dev team is active on the forums and they respond/listen to the people.


And one is not better than the other, it's personal preference. I personally don't want to play a cartoony type game, if I did, I'd play Team Fortress 2, and I would rather have purple colored armor, rather than purple skin..

Well G4m3r looks like I'm not going to get to play Warhammer with you... It took around 7 hours to download (really crappy internet) and then at the end of it, it said the download failed.... :(

I read today on gamespot that EA Mythic reported the user base has fallen to around 300,000 users :cool:

Yeah, that's true, but those numbers were taken at the end of December, and they've fixed a lot of things since then. And people are forgetting that we're competing with WoW, who has 10 million something subscribers. But also, when WoW was first released, they had a similar number, which was shown on a chart, the number had grown since they opened up to Asia, which War has not done yet. Everyone on the War forums is saying 300k is fine right now, and the game has only been out since September of 2008, WoW didn't pick up until 6-12 months after it was launched. And the upcoming War expansion pack, will be free I believe.

I have 6 new passes to send, and I also have the option to resend passes I've sent out before, not sure if those go towards the 6 though.

Atm I'm still playing WoW, but thinking a change might be good.
