Ok, so I was at bestbuy today, and was looking at the MAC Desktops. The only thing I liked about the desktop was the keyboard. So about the keyboard, I saw that it was being sold seperatly for 55.99, which is quite alot but still my question is;

"Would this Mac Keyboard work on a Windows Operating System"

Plus it's using the standared usb connector.

could you maybe use some standard size fonts and paragraph formatting? I am not sure what is your signature or what is your question.

It can be quite important, a lot of my GCSE work in IT required me to use that very key a million times or so. It might not be so needed in OS X though which is why Apple won't bother.

I work IT and I never use print screen really. Even when I was just using Linux only I never used it. In fact the only time I ever used it was in Windows, so maybe that is where you need it, though Vista now has built in screen shot tools so print screen is no longer needed really.

Same here.

OS X has it's own keyboard shortcut for it so Apple dropped the button.

NO Prntscreen is awesome

uh not really when there are way more advanced screen capturing tools built into almost every OS these days. Sometimes you only need to capture a portion, or the current active window, etc.

Maybe, maybe if you are doing all terminal based computing like a WYSE, or working on a completely headless server. Those are two very non practical examples.

Ok, I'll just type with the standard format.

Right now, I'm using a normal IBM/PC keyboard for my desktop, and a portable rollup/rubber Targus keyboard for my Xbox360, and IBM Laptop(T30).

I don't really wanna keep switching around the Targus keyboard so I was thinking about buying a perm keyboard for my laptop and saw the Mac Keyboard and thought it was alright.

If anyone has any feedback about the keyboard that'd be sweet. (Using it on a Windows OS)

lol PC keyboards are better

Yeah yeah....PC keyboards are better!?

This thing is built out of a frigging piece of aluminum, it's nicely sealed so crud doesn't get in it, and the keys are totally quite. Let's have keyboard fight and see who wins, me with my aluminum and you with the Taiwanese sweatshop plastic.

And if you have Vista, Print Screen does nothing compared to the Snipping Tool.

And this is the reason I don't own macs...
Logitech keyboard for PC-$11.99
Basic Mac keyboard-$55.99

Of course I love the style and looks of mac products, but I can't afford them, plain and simple..
