CPU + Tig Welder?? Help Please

I know this is not the best idea, but I have a pc near a tig welder. An option is not to move the pc (although that may be the best solution). Any ideas on what I can do to isolate the pc from high frequency? Or do you have any ways that I can reduce the high frequency hitting the pc?

I would have to say, not the best idea to have the pc near a TIG welder.

It may create small magnetic fields or like you said, some high frequency interference with audio devices if any.

Though only a temporary fix if it's even a fix would be to place something in between the two things best would probably be a chunk of metal or concrete but a piece of wood probably wouldn't hurt.

ha you could weld on the cpu!!! lol

Haha yeah I believe they are made of aluminum on outside so there's where the tig welder comes in. But I'm quite certainly positive you'd have yourself a piece of scrap metal instead of a CPU after you weld on it!

lol No I am not welding on the PC. If I place the cpu inside a box made out of wood (based on the previous comments), do you think this could reduce the frequency?

it'll be fine.
long term effects will be nil if any.
Short term effects, shouldn't be any.
If there are, deal with it. lol.

Maybe if you're welding A/C all the time, you might have some wifi disruption, but other than that... don't worry about it.

I'd be more worried about the grinding dust and particulates getting sucked in honestly depending on if it's in the same room or not.

A wooden box would not do a hoot as far as HF goes.

A 90A Harbor Freight (I assume that's what HF meant!) Flux core welder is def not the same, as it doesn't have any High Freq.

and I'm also in to say that when I clicked on this i thought it was going to have to do with welding a cpu ;d
as it's... in the processor section.
