Video Card Issue

Intel Pendium D CPU 2.66GHz 1GB RAM Nvidia GeForce 210

I've been having to replace video cards every 3 months due to failure. I don't know why they die so fast, but it's probably due to overheating and/or dust buildup as I rarely spray for dust. My 3 month old GeForce 210 is showing signs of failure when I play WoW. Could there be another issue that's causing them to die so quickly besides dust/heat?

Also the card is not registered. I tried to register it on Nvidia's website but I couldn't figure out how. I found a product registration page but it only offered to register a limited number of products. Is it too late to even register it?

Did you try a different brand of video card???

No video card should die in 3 months with any amount of dust and unless its getting over 100C i doubt it would fail that fast.

And if its it only the video card just try a different brand/video card. Try a Radeon.

If this card crashes and I get a replacement (it has a 3 yr warranty) would I need to install new drivers for the new card? Or if I already have drivers installed would I still need to install them again for the new card?

I would go and re-install the drivers, just to be safe. Although what I would really do if you get a replacement is I would sell the card, and get something different.

you may want to install some harware monitoring software and check the temps of the video to see if you have a temp problem and the card is overheating
i never spray for dust and my gpu was second hand when i got it and ive used it for about 2 years and it still works fine
