Right, I'm having trouble with this motherboard i have it has onboard graphics and a PCI-E slot for a graaphics card. Ive tried both of these and neither work. It turns on but doesent post and my monitor does not register a signal from the video. I get no POST beeps at all. All i get is 3 red lights on my ATi 4890 GPU so what could this be? Its not my graphics card as it works fine in my other PC ive also used another graphics card and it just did the same thing the RAM works fine as ive tested that on another motherboard, the CPU is fine as ive tested, the PSU is fine as it works with my build so i cant see what the problem is?

Ive removed the BIOS battery which did nothing at all so im just completely stuck on what it could be? Maybe the motherboards just broke? But then again why would it turn on? (Turns on as in LED lights up, graphics card fan spins, CPU fan spins.)

So can anyone shed some light on this?

I also know that the lights on my ATi card mean something i just cant remember what and ive tried searching google for it but got no luck?

Would be grateful for some help, cheers!

try using a linux cd, or even an ultimate bootcd, that runs from the disc, so you are not using the hard drive, see if you get any signal that way and let us know.

If you have 3 red lights on your 4890 and they dont go off it sounds like your GPU is either dying OR not recieving enough power from the PSU for some reason.

From diffrent sources i found out:
The three lights are supposed to come on when the computer boots. They signify that the card is going through its internal POST. They will all flash once, then turn off if the POST is successful.

If a single light stays on then there is something wrong. Otherwise the issues is in a different part of your machine. Depending on which light stays on indicats a particular error.

and

HD 4890 LEDs

D601: VDDC_FAULT

D1601: critical temperature fault

D1602: AUX Hot Plug/Unplug Fault (upper connector)

D1603: AUX Hot Plug/Unplug Fault (lower connector)

At BOOT/POST, the card's fan will spin @ 100% for a short while and 3 of the 4 LEDs will light up for a brief period and then go out ( D601 should remain unlit ). This is NORMAL behavior as the card is performing it's own type of POST test.
