ipod system chargers/usb

ok, so Im getting this Iphone/ipod (http://www.computerforum.com/194838-little-bit-everything-sale.html) tomorrow. It doesnt come with a charger though. So... would this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...f_rd_r=0XVHNQ8MYNQ071MVRG70&tag=5336653510-20) be able to attach it to me lappy and charge it via USB?

yea it looks like a standard ipod connection so yes

ok, thanks man.

And just to be clear, If I dont make calls, but use the net and text, the broken speaker there shouldnt be an issue, right?
