Piece of crap. Just wanted to warn Duke Nukem fans. It's not a good game. The game is way too easy, the enemies are dumb, it has way too many "mini-games" and they focused more on making it funny than making it fun. Enemy fights are broken and one-liners and "funny moments" are lame. Not to mention the graphics are outdated, ugly textures and old lighting effects, think Doom III. Haven't beaten it yet, but honestly I don't want to. Play Duke Nukem 3D instead, its 15 years old, but 15 times funner.

ha yeah gamespot gave it 3.5/10, oh dear and its been in development since 1997. Bit of a shame really

I've heard mixed reviews. I wonder if it's truly that bad or if it's just getting a bad wrap because it's not living up to ~15 years of expectations?

I've heard horrible reviews, and I've heard one's saying it's about an 8/10 and a decent reboot for the series with definite room for improvement. I mean hell, the original DN's weren't all that great for gameplay, but they were a fun niche.

Even after mixed reviews from tons of different sources, it averages out to no more than 6/10. It's just not what I was expecting.

Its awesome i loved it. Its Not amazing graphics or anything but its an awesome trip down memory lane

every one was expecting it to this god given game but its not its just a good game

My brother has the game. The real killer for me was that you are limited to two weapons at a time. I don't like this new trend of only having two weapons at a time. Anyway the game just stinks. After 15 years it's a piece of crap.

New? Last I checked real life only had about 2 weapons. All the cod series has 2 weapons. Halo series, Battle Field, Crysis, Just Cause, Counter Strike. The list goes on, and way back before what I consider "new" at least :p. It provides a sense of tactical awareness of the game and situation.

Yes but for games like this it makes no sense. Crysis, JC and CS yeah, but I like old style games where you can carry every weapon in the game and scroll between them :) Strictly single player for that though, two weapons is more than enough for MP games, three maximum. Pistol/sidearm rifle/smg and perhaps a rocket launcher for that class.
