Here is the build I was thinking of putting together. This PC will be used for mostly web surfing, school work, and watching videos. While watching videos I will be using my HDTV (1080p) all the rest on my 22". Half of this PC will be from my current computer that just died so if I list something that is Deactivated I already have it.

Items I will be using from the old PC:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218 HHD

New Items I will be ordering:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186220 MBO
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116399 CPU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231422 RAM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133356 GPU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986 OS

Will this handle video on the big screen?

ASRock has a better name do to its association with ASUS, but Foxconn makes 99% of the electronics. Gigabyte, ASUS, ASRock, MSI, APPLE iPhone, Xbox. Foxconn is not generic, but usually used for refurbishing old desktops.

gaming you are golden with RAM. The only reasons to have more are if you multitask heavily (like 20 separate programs running at once), or use memory hungry programs like CAD, or Photoshop.

8 GB is about the max you need in gaming. But if you are gaming, you will not be happy with a HD3000 GPU. You need something dedicated (its more than just performance, a dedicated card has its own ram, which will perform circles around turbo cache). Even a low end card like the 6550 ( i think thats the lowest), will kick the arse of the HD3000 in games.
Short story, HD3000 is fine to use for movies, browsing the net, saying hi to the peeps over on skype, and so on. when you start getting past just moving pictures to actually rendering lots and lots of polygons, the HD gets left in the dust right alongside the GMA, HD4200, and Geforce 6*** IPU.

That's perfect then. The most intense thing this PC will do graphically is play netflix on my hdtv.

After really thinking about it I realized that I more than likely will be playing games sooner or later on this rig so I switched it up a little bit. What do you guys think about this setup? Games I might end up playing...Skyrim, Diablo III, and possibly WoW.

I decided to change my case because my current one is in rough shape and loud.
Like I said earlier I have 550w power supply, 640gb hdd, and disc drives already.

Will this setup work well? Thanks for your time.

So all my stuff will be here Thursday. Few questions. Will the stock heat sink and thermal paste be sufficient? I built my last pc without the ground strap, should I pick one up or is it really not that big of a deal?

Got everything together and it is all working fine except for one thing. The Intel heatsink does not work. I plugged in my old 775 heatsink and it turned on right away. Anyone know a good heatsink for socket 1155? I'm not going to be overclocking at all so it doesn't have to be outrageous.

Thanks for all the support and quick answers during my build!! You guys(and gals) rock.
