I'm looking to purchase a desktop computer within the next few months. I want something that will out perform my current laptop and will still be quick and not outdated within the next 5 years or so.

Currently my laptop has the following components:

Intel Core Duo T7250 2.00GHz
Mobile Intel Express GM 965
3.00 GB memory 667 MHz SODIMM DDR2
