Best diagnosis software to test hard drives

What is the best software out there to test hard drives for errors etc ?

I want it to be as an ISO format to burn onto a disc if possible.

I just used SpinRite, seems ok.

SpinRite for sure. If you want free stuff look at MHDD and diagnostic tools from the manufacturer.

I like GWscan. It's available on the Ultimate Boot CD.
