How would I go about aver clocking my AMD 8320 from 3.5 GHz to 4 GHz or higher, what would I need and what would it affect and what benefits will I get.
retail motherboard, it would affect lifespan and temperature. Lifespan not by much, depending on how far you push it, same with temps. Need to have a decent cooler and good paste, preferably Artic Silver
You will need a good cooler, like a Cooler Master Hyper 212. It comes with decent thermal paste, no need to buy nice stuff. And look for a overclocking guide for your motherboard.
