graphics driver issue

I'm suspecting graphics card. If you have another computer plug your monitor in that and see if it is the monitor to rule that out.

Download GPUz and see what you get.

the gpuz does not detect my r7 250 either. i cant seem to find the support for graphics cards. i call the phone number on thier website but it is not the phone number for graphics cards i guess. the phone tells me to call another number but i could not make out what the number was.

Try the integrated graphics card on the motherboard. If that works then I would replace your external graphics card.
