If you want, you can download teamviewer and i can connect remotely to you and see what the issue may be. Can chat on phone while doing so. Just let me know.

THANKS ANYWAY...I AM FAMILIAR WITH THAT PROGRAM AND HAVE USED IT MAY TIMES....LIKE I SAID, I WILL RE-ATTEMPT THIS LATER AND POST RESULTS.

I know it's very frustrating when you go through the installation procedure and do everything 'by the book' and things don't work as expected or as they should, the majority of printers now being produced don't have a cable connection, they only operate wirelessly, which is not a good move.

Not sure where you are looking but all the printers that I have seen lately that are wireless also have usb and some also have ethernet connectivity.

Usually look on the back to one side. I recently bought a new all-in-one and chose one with cable connection socket, 10 others I looked at were wireless only, even ones that have a cable connection come without a cable, they're no longer supplied with the printer.

Printers haven't came with a usb cable for years. What specific printers have you seen without usb? Not everyone in the world has wireless.
