I had some people approach me for help. Someone else set a password on their Windows 7 computer and now they cannot get access. He said they have Windows 7 Home Premium installed. I only have a Windows 7 Ultimate and a Windows 7 Professional installation disks. If I were to use the below steps listed at the website below would I be able to reset their password? (I do not have physical possession of the computer yet.)

There is a quicker way to do it, just google how to reset windows 7 password and you'll see a few hits. In fact hirens boot cd has a nifty little program that will do it.

I am downloading Hiren’s BootCD version 15.2 now. I will try to come back to ComputerForum and let you know what happens. Thanks.

I got the computer. They had the Windows 8 operating system. She said she did not care about the data on the hard drive so I did a factory operating system default restore on it. I got access in. Issue resolved. Thanks for the advice and tips.
