My monitor is Samsung Syncmaster B2330H/B2330HF (Analog), 60 Hertz/Refresh Rate

My computer specs are currently

Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4790T CPU @2.70 GHZ, 2701 Mhz, 4 Crore(s) Logical Processor (s)
Microsoft Windows 10, HP Manufacturer
64 bits, 8GB Ram
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4600, Total Graphics Memory: 2176MB, Dedicated Video Memory: 128MB, System Memory: 0MB, Shared System Memory: 2048 MB

I want to change GHZ to atleast to 3.5 to 4 atleast.
and upgrade my graphics to nividia 980 or Nvidia GTX 1080/Ti

My purpose is to play skyrim on high-ultra, with a lot of mods/ good enough HD enb.
and perhaps play with 4k textures?

How do I accomplish this task?

And what kind of budget do you have? You will need a new power supply for sure. What is the specific model of HP do you have? I'm pretty sure you will be limited to what processors you can use. You are talking close to $1000 here for everything you need.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

My budget is around $700. I'd be willing to go around 750-800 if needed to be.
Model #: 410-019
Product #: N0A76AA#ABL
Serial #: 3CR5380DDK
Software Build #: 15AM3GRT607#SABL#DABL
Service ID #: 20151222
PCBRAND #: HP
OS #: ML

Question: Why would I need a new power supply?
Are you taking into account when I said 4k Textures? That's more of a question than a need.

I was thinking of getting this GPU.

I'm not sure if my GPU is integrated or not. I believe it is though, not sure. So might have to try different method.

Unfortunately, if its this sytem, you would need a new pc all together.

Your pc already has the highest cpu available. Sorry to be bearer of bad news.

It says max turbo boost - 3.9 GHz, mine is currently running at 2.7 GHZ.
Can't I speed it up?

Also what about installing a new GPU card? Can't I do that?
I'm going to do Geeksquad as well, and bring in my system to see what they say about it as well.

Turbo boost will automatically speed it up when needed. That pc only supports 3 processors, they are listed on the support site and you are running the best one. That is also a slim case so you will have space issues for a video card. I would not do anything with it and build a new pc with your own specs

If the slim case has 2 slots for expansion, theoretically you can shoehorn a Zotac gtx1080 mini into it. No guarantee it'll fit though.

PSU wise, I'd go with a 500W one with atleast 35-40 amps on that 12v rail just to be on the safe side. Typically, OEM PSUs don't satisfy that criteria which is why John recommend a new one.

I'll give it a try, if he it doesn't fit, I'll return it.

Thanks! btw how much did your cpu cost you? Do you have any recommendations for a 2-4k Skyrim HD prebuild? Is my monitor fine?

I might sell the damn thing. My temperature is around 40 degrees. Should I try overclocking?

Do you have any recommendations? Budget is 700-800.

I'm not good with building.

What do you think of this product: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/cyberp...uter-with-amd-fx-4300-processor/6000195316694

So far I've been given recommendations by a friend

Improved GPU can speed up my PC.

He said that I can't replace the igpu, but I can disable it and use another graphics card.

He said that I need to change my power supply because 180w won't be able to handle the GPU

and told me
these are good for upgrades to my current PC

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Cm...gb-sc-gaming-acx-20-video-card-04g-p4-6253-kr

He said I can play 2k but 4k would need another pre-build.

What do you guys think?

That 300 watt psu isn't gonna be enough for the 1050ti. 450 watts minimum. And you will hav a problem with the slim tower case. You can't overclock an OEM pc.

That pc from walmart is crap. Its really simple to build a pc.
