CPU Compatibility

I'm pretty sure that some cases have to be big enough to support a heat sink. But there aren't any comparability issues with the Cpu/Motherboard, right?

Your case will either support ATX, E-ATX, mATX or any variant of ATX. ATX is the standard for motherboard sizes.
For CPU coolers, specifically ones with heatsinks, your case has to be wide enough. That's entirely up to you to make sure.

OP. Read about the difference in LGA 1150 and 1151. You'll soon learn that motherboard and CPU need to be compatible.

As long as the socket is supported for the cooler your fine. Some coolers do cover RAM slots, but nowadays you won't come across much of those.

sorry bad wording on my part. I thought I heard someone could not fit a large heat sink in there case but I might just being going crazy. Thank you anyways! (forgot I started this thread sorry)
