Link for Malwarebytes in sticky does not work.

I was following the instruction in the sticky above and the link to Malwarebytes opens a URL not found, but does show a website.

Could malware already on my computer be preventing Malwarebytes from being found?

Something is going on with my computer and my BitDefender can't find anything. Also AdwCleaner says it did not find anything.

I just updated the link to the actual Malwarebytes website, it works now. Bleepingcomputer must be changing their downloads around.

What issues are you having?
full screen ads without any controls to escape out of it without puling the plug on the computer. Also things would freeze up as if something was downloading or possibly uploading.
I cleared all programs and cookies in both Firefox and Chrome and now the full screen ads don't come up, but everything is slow as if something is monitoring everything I type.
I just ran Malwarebytes and it said I had 182 unwanted files which I quarantined. Things have speed up from what I see now, but I will not know how it will be tomorrow.

I'd also run ADWCleaner as that can also grab some junk

He already did. A lot of these are just drive by's now. Which means you can do ctrl-alt-del and end task on your browser or window to get rid of it.

Can you post the malwarebytes log so I know what it removed? Also, run the OTL program and post the log. Have you installed any weird browser addon's lately?

Correction: ctrl-alt-del Did NOT work on anything. I added the "Goggle Photobucket Down Loader" and there was something my grandson added from a gaming site, but I can't remember what the name was.

Go into programs and features and make sure any weird software is uninstalled such as pc accelerator pro, web discover browser, etc. Sometimes they don't always get removed.
