I will buy a new laptop computer
What is more important as far as performance?
RAM?
The generation of processor?
being i5 or i7?

Can you list these three in order of importance?

for example

one computer is: core i5, 7300 HQ 16 gb RAM

other says: core i5, 8250U, 8 gb RAM

which one would perform better?

Can someone explain the relations and list them from most important to least clearly? (i7 or i5, processor number and RAM)

I just gave these two as example, I can buy other computer too...

It largely depends on what you're doing with the computer.

Performance would be similar, although the 8250U is a low power part, so the 7300HQ would probably have an almost unnoticeable edge.

Again, it depends on what you're doing with the computer. It should be noted that you'd be best served with at least 8GB of RAM.

According to notebookcheck, i5 8250u is 6% faster provided you don't use applications which required lots of RAM.

If I buy a laptop, the priority would be GPU, CPU, screen panel and weight.
It is because it is very likely you could upgrade RAM and HDD/SSD yourself
