Safest browser

I've had it with being tracked, being afraid of posting or searching for something for fear of being compromised. What is the safest browser you've found? I'm don't play video games, I don't post to social media groups, and speed is not my most important issue. Safety and security is. thanks.

I usually use Firefox, although occasionally it has compatibility breaking updates.

Theres also the aforementioned duckduckgo browser, but it depends on what your idea of 'being compromised' actually entails. If you really want obscurity and malware resistance run something like Redox OS on RISC-V

From what I’ve seen Firefox offers some of the best privacy and anonymity out there but the downside is that some websites might not work quite right.

I've been happy with Brave, but they're all probably similar as far as safety. It's much more about your browsing habits. Not using social media is a good start.

Microsoft Edge (on Windows) – Best integration & security sandboxing

  • Why it's safe:
    • Built on Chromium, like Chrome, but with Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, which blocks malicious sites better than Google Safe Browsing (used in Chrome).
    • Deep integration with Windows Defender, Windows Hello, and Group Policy.
    • Isolated Application Guard (on Enterprise versions) runs websites in a virtualized container, preventing exploits from escaping into Windows.
    • Sandboxed tabs, strong exploit mitigations.
  • Best for: Users who want tight OS integration and strong phishing/malware protection.

Well I have used Microso
Sorry but MS is one of the last companies I'd trust for safety.
Well longer than most, since Windows 3.1

There are also people who put other children's life's at risk refusing immunisations for their children because of false beliefs, and people who believe 5G melts your brain LOL
