Maybe I missed something there, but Last week I sold my PSP and 2 games for $220.00 plus $10 shipping so $230 when shipping is added. I know that is way more than it is worth, but he paid me and I sent it, then again I dont know how much they go for in the UK because that is where he was located.

The winning bidder will get negative feedback and a Non paying strike against them. If you get 3 strikes your account gets locked.

When you sign up now you need to verify a CC and I think your SS. The SS I'm not sure of, but I know they require a CC to verify your Identity. That is how they combat fraud and double accounts

I doubt s/he will pay up in honesty, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with that placement. It clearly states twice that the item is the box for the PSP, therefore, buyers responsibility to check the item thoroughly before putting bids in. Especially that stupid amount.

Hehe, some people deliberately bid on these sort of items, without intending to pay, just to get the seller to pay the ebay fees (or go through the trouble of getting them back). Call it community justice - if they think the seller is trying to rip people off, they'll try to rip the seller off.

You do not need to give your cc or ss info when signing up for ebay(as of when i did it... 2months ago?) So people can just screw around on ebay if they really wanted..
