I have seen those before. I had one to use the remote to turn off my black lights.

I want my lights in my room to be on a remote :)

ARGH, I hate you lol.

At boarding school (Which is were I am most of the time) the light switch is really close, but when I am at home my bedroom is really big and I have to walk at least three meters from the light switch... So not cool.

My dad is an electrician (plus I could wire it too as I am going to be one) so he can just whip things like that up in 20 minutes haha.

At first I thought I was missing something :D, I don't think I would be willing to pay $30 for a remote controlled outlet. Can't think of a use that I would have for a remote controlled outlet, regardless of price... But that's just me... :p Although, I think my parents have one on an outlet during Christmas for a wreath on their shed..., definitely worth not having to go out in the snow when you're going to bed. :p

Still, I don't know, I mean I don't think it's a rip off, it's just something that I would need to have a fairly big motivation for (like the Christmas example I used earlier...). :)

I would use it for my PC plug, i have an extension which is buried deep within the depths of the cable jungle at the back of my PC.

I would love to just press a remote and it turned everything off :)
