Hey guys, I made a post earlier about a new rig for gaming. Only needed a few parts as I plan to salvage a case, HDD, and etc. from my existing computer. Anyway, here are the new parts that I was suggested.
ASUS P5K ATX LGA775 P35 DDR2 2PCI-E16 3PCI 1PCI-E1 SATA2 Sound GBLAN 1394 Motherboard

Kingston HyperX PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2 800MHZ CL4-4-4-12 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit

Corsair HX520 CMPSU-520HX 520W ATX Triple 12V 40A Continuous 24PIN ATX Modular 120MM Power Supply

And thats the main plan, but as with most plans and especially greedy older brothers there is a sub plan. He mentioned something about taking my processor and giving me his old processor (Intel E6400). He was just wondering if he'd get any major gains out of it. His system currently sits as
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400

ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...0&promoid=1001
EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800 GTS 500MHZ 640MB 1.6GHZ GDDR3
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21406
Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB 2X1GB PC6400 DDR2-800 CL 5-5-5-12
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...1&promoid=1001
So would it be worth it for him to swap processors?
And does the new build for my computer look decent?
Thanks for any help in advance, this site has been super helpful in getting me to what I want. Thanks
