GRRR i cant see anything!

hey guys i just installed a game i got for free off of that goozex website lol, but i have a problem now. the game asked me to restart my computer to finish the installation, but when the computer restarted the screen is extremely bright and i can hardly see anything. idk if this picture will show it or not, truth be told i cant tell

adjust your brightness, go to display properties.

yeah its all the same as it was before. but for some reason even restarting my computer doesnt yield any results. i closed all the programs that the computer starts with, but still no change...

EDIT: i found the problem! after searching for a little while, i found that ATI color controls for my video card had somehow been disabled... (i didnt do it, the game installed and then the problem started, right when i started the game) so somehow the game switched the ati color control off, thats pretty annoying lol.
