Buy.com sent me a GPS rather than my processor.

I ordered an e2180 from Buy.com because they had some sweet deal a while ago. It finally got here, but instead of the processor is this awesome GPS

Now I don't really know what to do. Part of me wants to just keep it, but that would be dishonest, so yeah, I think I'll email buy.com or something. I think I will send it back but ask them to premium ship the processor or something. I kinda need it before i leave for spring break.

I think I might do that. I did email them, but they seem really stupid. I tried to explain that I have a valuable GPS and they respond asking if I want assistance RMA'ing the processor. They don't seem to understand that they didn't send me a processor and instead sent me a 300$ GPS. I emailed back, and if they still don't get it, then I'm selling it :)

I would just sell it... They screwed up, their problem...

Wow... Well if I were you, I would contact them first and say you'd only send it back if they paid for shipping. I know I ordered something off ebay a while back and received a pair of SD card readers for some odd reason. I told the guy about it, but he never said he'd pay to ship them back. I use them almost all the time now :p

BTW... I have TomTom loaded on my GPS. Eh, I don't like it as much as MioMaps or my previous Garmin GPS. Their POI database is rather scarce and the menus are rather difficult to use in my opinion.

So it's not a good GPS? Oh well, I wasn't planning on using it anyway. It should still fetch a decent sum if I sell it.

Eh, it's more personal opinion. I don't know how the hardware is, but the TomTom software is loaded on my GPS and I find it rather...meh... It does fine with coordinates, but can be difficult to use otherwise.

Actually Tom Tom isn't that great. I use GPS several times a day and I've used Tom Tom, Cobra and Garmin. Tom Tom and Cobra use Teleatlas maps which really aren't that great. They take you on crappy routes, through dirt roads, etc. The Gamin uses Navteq. Navteq simply crucifies Teleatlas, no question.
