hard job to land if you ask me. You may not get exactly what you want and make sure its what you want to do. Finding jobs in certain areas especially design can be hard.

You might want to consider software engineering as an alternative. Thats what I'm looking into currently and from what I've researched, the number of career paths it opens up is extraordinary. Unlike the hardware side, once you've learnt the skills you can move into virtually any field, multimedia (film/games), the defense industry (my dad's line of work, hence my interest), etc. And lets not forget how much money there is in software right now (Microsoft, Google, all making mega bucks from zeros and ones). Just a thought.

All I can really say about classes is take 4 years of math and science(chem. and physics) and of course as much CAD (computer aided drafting) that you can

I'm a junior in High School and am looking at UND (University of North Dakota) to major in Computer Science/Information Technology (and hopefully minor in Aviation). I want to be a worker that will repair and monitor systems as well as hardware for companies.
