Wii fit anyone?

With the launch of another ambitious Nintendo project will anybody be purchasing wii fit? Or for those in England, HAS anyone already purchased it? I have my copy reserved, but Im curious if it is as good as the early reviews have led me to believe it is. Being more active and dropping a few pounds has been my goal the past few months and I actually didnt even know this game was for real until I was in best buy a few weeks ago and a guy i know that works there told me about it and urged me to consider getting the last pre-order (which im glad i did since it is sold out everywhere!)

So what is everyones take?

I havent looked too deep into it (cause i dont own a wii) but i personally would rather go outside and ride a bike or swim with my friends...but maybe Im not understanding the point.

I guess the yoga would be cool (kinda like watchin a yoga video?)

I have a Wii and that's exactly what i thought. But i suppose it's meant to be fun for the whole family and i think some people would prefer the idea of losing weight in their own home.

I've been thinking of getting it at some point after it is released. Sometimes I don't always want to go out into the sun and bike around and whatnot. I can't exactly run too far either without my g.e.r.d.s (type of acid reflux) flaring up.

Wii Fit looks different and I also think it might be worth the money. I shall wait and see.

Seems like a very adventurous piece of equipment, I have seen a few reviews, and I don't think it's yet advanced enough to be the next big thing.

It looks quite interesting, I (or my dad) might buy one eventually for our Wii, but a few people I know have injured themselves on it, it may just be them overworking themselves, but im still skeptical about it.

Yeah from what i have seen with the ads on TV it looks really good and a few people say that it is very good.

It's brilliant. If you have a wii you have to buy it, it's pretty awesome. The whole 'get fit' thing is a side attraction, it's properly good fun.

Plus now I'm living in a city I can't really enjoy running anymore, so while this is hardly a substitute it does seem to help (you end a 'game' in quite a lot of pain!)

I only saw the commercial for the Wii Fit. It looks pretty cool. I think it's perfect for those people that want to excerise in the comfort of their own home. I wonder how durable it is since it's going to get A LOT of use and people standing on it and all...
