    Desktop Computer suddenly restarts...

I don't see how those items quarantined by malwarebytes would caus the system to reboot but possibly. How is it reacting since the cleaning? Still rebooting?

    Desktop Computer suddenly restarts...

If they all say source was kernel power then its gonna be difficult to track down. Could be due to failing memory, hard drive or other. Might want to start by running memtest or even removing and reinserting the ram sticks to make sure they are seated properly. Next would be a hard drive...

    USB drive not recognized

What does the top of that window show? You should see something similar to this. You may need to download a partition manager program like minitool partition wizard and delete and format it from there. https://cdn2.minitool.com/?p=pw&e=pw-free If you are still having issues then the...

    Reformatting laptops.

You have a low end cpu along with only 4gb of ram. So basically the only thing you can do is increase the ram but it's still gonna be slow. If you go into device manager and expand disk drives you can list what model is shows and we can tell you if it's an ssd or mechanical drive. Most likely...

freezes then wont boot, help please

There has been 4 updates since then. https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=984&data-type=DOWNLOAD But I would definitely try using a different card first before trying to update the bios especially if you have never done it.

freezes then wont boot, help please

That is the driver for the video card. What motherboard do you have and what bios version is installed? You may want to try a different video card to see what happens.

    Hard Drive Recovery

Yes, they are compatible, it is a SATA hard drive not IDE. So since the other drive works with the adapter we can only assume this drive is dead.

freezes then wont boot, help please

Most likely your hard drive is failing. Without more information I'm just guessing here. If you would have gotten the error message on the bsod, that would have helped. I would first start by finding out what brand of hard drive it has and use their software to run a long scan on it to check...

Moved computer, now it won't start

They would be under X:\users\username\ Where X is the letter of the drive you want access to. Most likely yes because trying to change permissions via windows is a pita. Are you running windows 10 or a different OS? Once I know that I can direct you to the correct file to download.

    Hard Drive Recovery

Can you show us the end of the adapter you are using and then end of the hard drivce that you are trying to connect to? Trying to confirm whether or not you have an IDE or SATA hard drive. Until we see that, then we are only grasping at straws. If both drives have the same type of connection...

Does a CX430 have enough power for this build?

No, you need a minimum of 500 watts but I would get a 600 watt psu for that and for future upgrades. That cpu is already over 11 years old.

    Hard Drive Recovery

The one on the left is a SATA hard drive which requires a sata power cable. With the one on the right, as long as you have I assume a usb cable plugged into the computer and the other one plugged into power then it should work. Are you sure the reader you have is good? What do the other ends...
