the satelite link shouldnt be affected too much, seeing as a laptop case is just plastic. The only thing that will make it less good will be the place of the laptop (assuming you use it in a car for example) I wouldn't place it too far to the back, since the monitor/screen is attached there...

Mass Effect. (the original one, 2 is more than 30 pounds I think) Halo 3 is nice to play too. (ofc, if you like the game) Played Borderlands quite a bit myself too, also a good game imo.

I wouldnt go for a HDTV as monitor, they're usually quite slow. (at least, the new philips a friend of mine has feels sluggisch. Not to mention that a decent monitor with the same resolution costs less. (over here at least.)

Its easy.. Dirt 2 all the way. Let me put it this way, the Rally cars in Dirt 2 on a gravel track seem to have better grip than a touringcar in NFS. (go figure)
