Hmm.. Stanford for some reason reports 3 CPU's for my user, when in fact I'm only using 2, anyone else got this incorrect report recently? On a side note, I have enabled "Allow receipt of work unit assignments and return of work results greater than 5MB in size (such units may have large...

I guess you could do that, but who in their right mind would pay 200 for a 68GS? Or any 68 for that matter.

    Radeon x850xt PE....

The X850XT-PE packs more power than many people thinks, and it's definitely the best option for the money.

    7950GT vs X1900XT 256mb

The XTX has a slightly faster memory and processor. But the XT is easily overclockable to XTX speeds.

    nVidia Cheated

LOL You're a few years late with this mate, most of us remember it very well though. The 128 bit bus crippled the 5800 severely, a poor (and hot running) performer with the noise of a vaccum cleaner.

soooo many fancy cpu coolers whats the best

I just ordered a freezer 7 pro, they seem very good for the cheap price. Should be quiet as well compared to the boxed PentiumD fan.

Running it minimized wont keep it from interfering with some games, which may become unstable. The command line version is best if you want to fold on a machine also used for gaming.

    Is 256Mb enough?

A single high end card would give you better value, performance for your dollar. It's decent. If that was true then nobody would run it.

    F.E.A.R. Supported Resolution Problems

Well, you can assign a custom resolution by editing these lines in the "Settings.cfg" file. "ScreenWidth" "1280" "ScreenHeight" "1024" Not that I recommend running F.E.A.R. in that resolution.

    x1900xtx mem and core drop?

Bingo! :) There is a process called "ati2evxx.exe", which will lower the card voltage & frequencies when exiting a 3D environment & going into 2D, this will save power & keep the card quiet when not playing a game. If your using ATi-Tool to manually control the card using a profile, you should...

    ATi Tool problem

Start > Run > services.msc Note: If you disable this service, the card will run at it's 2D frequency even within 3D environments. It is up to you to create a suitable profile within Ati-Tool. Also, have a look at this guide...

    evga 7900gt ko 3dmark06 scores????

Heh it would get a better score than 300. But no he is not telling you the truth, that or he might be running the test using a much lower resolution than the default 1280x1024. Or he could simply have used 3DMark 05 instead of 06.

    ATi Tool problem

That is the ati2evxx process which controls the cards 2D and 3D clocks, kill it if you want to use AtiTool to oc your card.
