My dilema is I want to try a bunch of new programs like new antivirus and malware programs too see what i like.

I have this fear that installing an bunch of programs because it will make windows dirty: slow, take up a bunch of space, etc, et al. So even if i uninstall them, run cclearner and check what is starting up am i still get a dirty windows?

I put the harddrive into a desktop coputer with SATA so i could run MHDD. Seagate tools found no errors but MHDD found hundereds of slow sectors and other warnings. leason learned is just put the drive into an older computer that testing software will support.
