Vista Home Preamium came pre-installed on this laptop. I installed Ubuntu 8.04 on it fine. I can see the windows files from within ubuntu. When I booted Vista I got the following images. -> -> -> (clicking Load Drivers) -> (clicking next) I cannot use F8 to get into safe mode. I remeber...

I doubt that mobile devices will get that intense. Could computing is going to change how hardware is used becuase the majority of processing will be done in the cloud. For ultra portable computers/sub notebooks I can see them addopting low power mulitcore some time. Yeah that makes sense to...

MUP.SYS is a hard one to debug and fix. Maybe in the later windows verions windows will tell you what it is doing so you can fix it easier. linux does it ...

Why are computer people buy now so powerfull? I figure the average end user isnt really going to need a core2duo and 2gigs DDR2 but that is the moderate computer you can by from a box store now. I know Vista requires alot and i have no clue why. I gues what the average user does not is...

they say to use the orginal box etc. I have the box, im using it accutaly, the packing peanuts but not the bubble wrap. Also im not sure wich static bag it came is so i just put it one that it fits into. Are they picky about that stuff?

if you have any system tray or back group nvidia processes running, try killing them then do the close open proccesss. see if that works.

yes it can be installed on FAT. it normaly is when installed to usb flash drives
