you don't even need to O.C. it, my 1090T ran at 3.7 all the time because of that amd turbo speed or whatever it was called.

haha, 200 eh? you just buy chips, use them for 3 days and toss them to the side? Nice. Anways, I know these are the new mainstream cpus, but it is pretty much the same performance as the current 1366, so I guess there really isn't a high end anymore, not until 2011 comes out.

another thinig i noticed, is that hyper threading is completely useless in 3dMark11, my score is lower with 4.5HT on compared to 4.6 HT off.

I did a bench with tri-fire yesterday, and my score actually went down haha

I think I can do better, though, I just need to work on getting 4.7 stable.

Ivy bridge is coming out later, I have heard anywhere from Q3 -Q4 2011, but the CPUs in that list are for sandy bridge.

No it's on water. And I picked it up for 650CDN brand new, the 980x was another 200-250, but I am happy with the 970.

I had the same problem with my 965. I tried for so long to hit 4Ghz but the most I could get stable was 3.9. I find that getting the phenom iis to stay stable 4+ is difficult. For myself at least but I am not the worlds greatest overclocker.
