When ever I use my webcam it lags foor some reason. I have a 256k cable connection, the webcam is usb. Its strange cause sometimes itll lag after a while, sometimes never, sometimes all conversation long. Any ideas ?

Its just a test program I made that displays "hi" on the screen. I made it so it ends when you press the enter key using the input command. Works fine. Executes fine. But it wont let me change the icon. Wont let me open it actually. I tried the 16 bit eXescope, didnt work either.

Oops, problem. When I try to open my file it says "Not a Win32 executeable file". Any ideas ? And sorry for bugging so much.

Oh, hadnt tought about that. But that would change all of the files under that extension. Well, will the change be permanent ? Like if i send this file will that icon remain or will it change back to its original icon ?

Im wondering if theres anyway to permanently change a files icon. I tried doing so but Windows just creates another a link with the Icon I choose. I want the icon to stick wheter I send trough an email or lan or any other method. Thanks.

Yeah, itll be Fat 32 but hes installing Windows 95. No biggy there. I just hope he has all the device drivers, if not, hes in for a long hunt. And i mean a real LONG hunt.

There is this one program I know of, I believe it is called Ghost which will copy one HD to another identically. Its a very small program, fits on a floopy. Youll have to open your case and hook up another hard drive to your CD-ROM'S IDE cable. Then you just follow a few on screen instructions...

Well, Try This Ok, Ive played back and forth with Windows Os's. The windows xp cd wont always delete a partition. It might tell you it was deleted or whaever but it just isnt that good. The best advice I can give you is to create a Windows 98 Boot Disk. That thing'll kill anything. I do believe...

Well, i was playing ao=round with "Open with" now all my .bas files open with notepad. Anyway I can lose this? Like make it so it asks me but doesnt take any action like open it with Notepad ?

AVG Free and I havent seen a virus in months, before I had a virus weekly atleast.

Id just download the OS. Stick a generated key in there and bypass the activation, for the RPC id just use a firewall. : )
