I first was thinking about getting 8800 gt or the gtx but considering ati's new 3870x2 performs better than both cards in some tests and costs $200 less then why hesitate on getting it. I am a ati fan, I don't want to state that nvidia sucks cause it doesn't both companies make terrific cards...

Is the ram and the case good. Also is it necessary to go with raid-0 or the hard drive setup i have is good enough. Also thanks for the info.

Its only $100-$150 difference between the two, Ive heard the new ati vc 3870 1gig blows away the 8800gtx ultra in every way and its way cheaper. Ive used geforce once and the vc fried 2 day of playing cod2 so Im scared of purchasing a nvidia vc.
