After hearing TOO's comment on how two of his seagate drives failed within one week, I've decided to buy a backup drive. One question though-how big are backups usually? I'm getting a 320gb main drive, how big should the backup drive be?

When I build my new comp I won't have the OS until vista comes out. Can I just remove the drive from the old comp to the new comp? It has windows 2000 installed on it.

You just said you couldn't boot up all the way. Or was this before? The only way that would happen was if you went in and did something. But there is a _slight_ chance that the drive failed. But I doubt it.

Connection is fine cause sound works on the xbox. I've installed the driver but still no go. But it is a problem on the PC's end, that I'm sure of.

For some reason the speakers on my computer only play out of the left one. I use the same speakers with my 360 with a KVM and they work fine. I'm using Windows 2000. I've checked the volume control thing but it looks fine-balance is in the middle.
