    Computer build okay?

I'm going to be building a computer for a friend soon, and I was wondering if this is an okay build. I found it online and seems good to me, but I just wanted some other opinions on whether I should swap anything out or not. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HJQv7P This case is also a possibilty...

    EMI problems

I'm using a steelseries 5hv3 headset. They use the standard headphone and mic jacks, not usb. I've tried plugging them into the front and back, but both produce static. and how would I update it?

    EMI problems

So I have had this problem on my desktop since I built it, and I don't know how to fix it. I've looked into it and I'm pretty sure what I'm experiencing is EMI. It makes my microphone staticy, and I get a slight high pitched noise in my headphones. Does anybody know how to fix this?

    Around $700 computer build

Something else I noticed: the graphics card uses a pcie 3.0 x16, but the motherboard uses pcie 2.0 x16. I know they are compatible, but am I looking at a performance decrease because of this?

I have a couple 1gb sticks of RAM from my old computer. They aren't very good RAM by any means. Would it still be worth it to salvage those?

    Around $700 computer build

Okay, so I've changed my build a bit. Tell me what you guys think. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gt6jK8 I swapped out the 8320e cpu for the normal 8320, the msi 970a-g43 motherboard for a gigabyte ga 970a-ds3p, and the 500w psu for the 600w version. I did however decide to keep the zotac gtx 970...

    Around $700 computer build

It's my first build and I have no idea how to overclock, but I wouldn't leave it out of the picture. Would switching to the regular 8320 make a noticeable difference in performance? Also, do you have a recommended substitution for the motherboard? Like I said, my knowledge of this stuff is limited.
