yes i was going for 16mb cache and 7200 rpm but i didnt think i cud use SATA on my PC. could i use SATA on Compaq SR1820NX ?? (i added 1gb of RAM to this PC also..which i dont think has anything to do with hard drives) thanks for response

the best wud be like cas latency 2...well close to it..for pc3200 anyways..im not an expert on RAM but ive bought it before and am fairly educated bout it but other stuff matters rather then just the cas latency

i think u can play pinball pretty hardcore on those...

id go with a $300 emachine from circuit city...but thats just me

media center is pretty cool..i have it on my desktop and i have the media center remote which is an absolute must if you want maximum utilization....so if u get get media center get the remote also :p
