I don't think a usb sound card will sound any better than a Inbuilt motherboard one, A dedicated high end Sound card would be the ideal solution.

Your theories on the cubic feet per min for fan movement might be correct but remember the volume of air movement relies on the amount of openings in the case for air to draw through to supplement this. In practical terms it might not move that amount due to restriction.

Antec name is usually good but if you read the reviews of this particular model the Cons are DOA or the PSU fails prematurely, seems a lot of people not happy with this one.

Some laptops draw in air from sides and exhaust at the bottom while others do the opposite, either way works sufficiently....

Check your audio cables for loose or broken connections.

You be most surprised how resilient computers can be, where I work which is the metal industry, the Meltshop where they use the furnace can be quite extremely hot reaching those figures you mentioned and they have a few computers which are exposed to these heat conditions and work efficiently...

The idea is it will look like the original DVD but in actual fact will be a PC & the real challenge is to fit the workings of an entire PC in the case which will require extensive modding. I have seen this done years ago & thought I will give it a go myself.

Cheaper PSU's most likely do not have power Good signal circuit installed in the PSU where the Corsair PSU will have one. I would imagine your motherboard could be faulty, or as suggested check all your component connections including cards ram etc etc as this can be your problem.

For a house hold set up you will be ok, for commercial applications in a business complex would be different issue due to long cable runs.

Never seen a computer with out dust inside regardless of Hi or low air pressure, even with filters you will get a light build up over time. Oh sorry I have seen a clean computers but they were in a controlled environment.
