My Rig: Cut the price down without cutting performance?

According to your suggestions, spirit, I'll have shaved off $169 right there. That would allow me to get a more powerful power supply, but would it really matter? I don't know anything about power supply.

My Rig: Cut the price down without cutting performance?

So the SSD has no bearing on gaming then? Because as far as programs and stuff, I think I'll be okay. I'm used to a Duel Core 1.4Ghz laptop with an nVidia GeForce 8400.

    What's an SSD? Sorry I'm a noob!

I know SSD means Solid State Drive, but I'm not sure what that is. Is it a type of hard drive? If so, why do I need a regular hard rive and an SSD? I'm currently trying to decide if I'm going to switch from console gaming to PC and I'm building a rig with an $850 budget. Anyways, I'm...

Check out my build. Any advice?

So what areas do you guys think I could spend a little less money without hurting the performance of my build? Really, I can't spend any more than $850, that's all I've got for a rig, and that's including the cost of an OS.

Check out my build. Any advice?

Actually, I'm thinking of switching over to PC gaming. I'm actually a console gamer. Not sure if I'm going to buy the new Xbox One or build myself a gaming PC. Here's what was recommended for me for my $800 budget. (I actually changed it up a smidgen). Video Card...
