what you should try is hooking strait to the modem throught a ethernet cable and make sure it works there you might have to do a ipconfig under run-cmd-ipconfig if computer doesnt connect automaticaly and call your number with a cell phone or have someone else call it and if it does what it was...

not to be an ass but you solved that problem you cant connect the ethernet from the wired router to the wireless router/modem
