Facebook does not use cookies to identify us?

I did a fresh CCleaner clean up and found that many cookies were not removed from my browser, while majority of pages seemed to logout properly. So its probably something to do with CCleaner then.

Facebook does not use cookies to identify us?

Yes my title is somewhat misleading. Facebook does in fact use cookies but if you remove all cached files (cookies included) from your browser you will still be logged to Facebook. Try it

Facebook does not use cookies to identify us?

Hi, I discovered this upon doing a CCleaner clean up. All cache data in all browsers were gone hence all history, cookies and cached files were gone so all websites were reset to their login pages but not Facebook. Facebook was just as logged in as before. What do they use instead of...

    What happens to extra FPS

Aha I see. What I meant was, unless you have v-sync on the GPU still creates those extra frames but those frames never make it to the screen right? Anyway the more important part is, how does Fraps count FPS? Does Windows have a frame rate counter built in or does Fraps have to implement some...

    What happens to extra FPS

Hi, what happens to extra FPS that is above your monitors refresh rate. Majority of monitors have 60 Hz refresh rate right? Does it work in a way that monitor requests an updated frame 60 times per second and the GPU just provides one frame whenever requested and discards the other...

Weird drops in FPS (notable even in web browser)

So I did a comparison run in both SMOOTH and LAGGY mode and monitored my processes. Making a screenshot of Task manager in either mode would be almost 1:1 copy with exception that on LAGGY mode my CPU only allows Battlefield to consume 50% - 60% while in SMOOTH mode CPU allows to go up to...

Weird drops in FPS (notable even in web browser)

While my CPU temps are not ideal during gameplay this issues occurs even in idle. For example my PC has been running for an hour just in Windows now and I can see laggy JavaScript on regular websites and even photoshop runs rather slow and laggy. I didnt launch any games today so my temps...

Weird drops in FPS (notable even in web browser)

This is very odd, because the throttling effect seems to be determined and initiated during each system boot. Never once during short or long gameplay has the FPS dropped from high to low. I dont have many options for improvement. The CPU is cooled by Arctic Freezer Xtreme Rev.2‎ and I got a...

Weird drops in FPS (notable even in web browser)

Now that I did some digging you might be right. I will check my options for improvement. Anyway I did a new test while the game was running on low FPS. So this time Battlefield 4 would average at 30FPS sometimes running as low as 5FPS and I did a 15 minute run again. CPU Max: 65C (usually saw...

Weird drops in FPS (notable even in web browser)

Worth a shot. Idle CPU : 34C Idle GPU: 45C Then I ran 15 minutes of Battlefield 4. Averaged at 75 FPS CPU Max: 72C GPU Max: 76C (with other games and longer gameplay I never saw GPU go over 80C) GPU VRM Max: 78C (not sure what that is, but it had highest temperature Gpu-z showed)...

Weird drops in FPS (notable even in web browser)

Hi, I get some pretty weird behavior with my new gaming rid. This machine is build to run Battlefield 4 at above 70FPS and it usually does; however sometimes I get these massive drops in FPS. Sometimes games (BF4, Metro LL, Thief) run at 30FPS sometimes as low as 10FPS. Not sure what this...

Help with implementing Twitter on a website

Yes I tried several variants of paths to the file. I also tried submitting the file in binary through file_get_contents. That did not help either. If you could get this or any other code to work, that would be fantastic because I am running out of ideas.

Help with implementing Twitter on a website

Hi, I am getting kind of desperate for answers. I am using this ridiculously simple script to auto Tweet on behalf of a user. $image = 'test.jpg'; // Insert your keys/tokens $consumerKey = 'xxx'; $consumerSecret = 'xxx'; $OAuthToken = 'xxx'; $OAuthSecret = 'xxx'; // Full...

Does AMD FX-9370 overperform Intel Core i5-4670K

Hi, I havent had an AMD gpu for a while because I was the impression that Intel performs better in gaming. I was wondering whether AMD FX-9370 (being the second most powerful CPU of AMD) outperforms Intel Core i5-4670K (being the most powerful Core i5) They are the same price, however...

GPU support of DX11.1 vs. DX11.2

    Hi, I have been noticing that support for DX11.1 and DX11.2 varies by GPU model however in a quite confusing fashion. GTX TITAN - 11.1 GTX 780 - 11.1 (some even 11.0) GTX 780 Ti - 11.2 R9 290X with stock cooler - 11.2 R9 290X with upgraded cooler - 11.1 R9 280X some 11.1 some 11.2...

    Will they release R9 290X with a non-stock fan

Sure Ti is always a better choice in terms of performance but how about the noise the stock cooler makes and the price is far too high.
