Does anyone know how good this is

Its a workstation board (thats why its noted with a "WS"), so unless your running a workstation/server (in which case you should be going with an opteron configuration), dont bother with it.

    Is this any good?

In general, all your doing is raising the FSB. Look here for some more info: http://www.computerforum.com/16346-overclocking-101-oc101.html Don't worry about the limited memory voltage too much though, you can always clock the RAM down when rasing the FSB. Electricly, no, you can't do it...

    Is this any good?

Good board... memory voltage is a bit limited, but thats not a problem if your not OCing. That board doesn't do 16X crossfire, each PCI-e slot will run at 8X in crossfire mode. Wait for RD600 if you want a board with 2 16X electrical slots. It won't give you any trouble (intel boards are...

Best PC for $1500 Intel or AMD? Can you help?

The G.Skill kit is "better", but if you're not overclocking you might as well go with a cheaper set.

Best PC for $1500 Intel or AMD? Can you help?

Right now I'm kinda confused, cause he said he wasn't overclocking... then again "he" wasn't the guy who posted this thread orginally. Anyway you can downgrade the E6600 to an E6400, I just put it in there because it fit. The E6600 has double the cache (not that important), and a 266 Mhz...

    amd reccomendation

It does, if not out of the box, than with a BIOS flash. You'll just flash with one core. It'll probably come with an X2 ready BIOS though.

    ATX vs EPS

You can overhang the extra four pins (although they may interfere with other components...). It'll work fine. I'm pretty sure that the PC&PC EPS12V PSU's come with a convertor to a standard P4 conector also. What model are you looking at?

    First Time Builder

Personally I'd go with the Intel D975XBX for that CPU. The major downside to that board would be the limited RAM voltage ajustments. Otherwise I'd go with the P5W-DH. Or the P5WDGS-WS PRO, but it might be a bit out of your price range...

tough question, not sure which way to go...

Ahhem... No :P It's two cores running at 3.6 Ghz, but it doesn't double the speed. Unless your into gaming at max settings, upgrade your processor. I'm sure you cn fit in a core 2 duo and compatible mobo for $500.

    Intel BadAxe questions

What revision do you have? It looks like if you supported conroe from the start than you don't need the OC DEBUG mod. Before you start doing mods and such, flash to a newer BIOS to see if it helps.
