    Fastest Browser

Chrome loads the fastest on my rig, but the only gripe I have is that I can't click the scroll wheel and move the mouse to scroll up and down a page like I can on other browsers. So I mainly use firefox.

    Core i7 CPU cooler

considering that most of the heat transfer takes place through the heatpipies, the design may very well be superior having the pipes directly on the CPU as in that pic. whenever you have extra metal between the things you want to transfer heat to, you get more resistance to the transfer...

Post A Pic Of Your Pc Here :)

    New i7 Build, input appriciated

hmm i would try to pick up a pair of HD4830's or perhaps even a pair of the new HD4770's if your budget permits and you are ok with running crossfire. You can see my results in the 3DMark06 thread on computerforum.com when I had my i7 being run on a pair of 3870's. The 4830's or 4770's will be...

    New i7 Build, input appriciated

I would go for some cheaper RAM such as G.Skill DDR3-1600. Check out what newegg has at the moment. Also, for 240-250 you could get a better video card solution. You could run a pair of ATI cards (such as HD4850's) or even pick up an HD4890 for the same price. post up some pics when you get...

    My Budget i7 Build: i7920/ASUS P6T/9800GTX+SLI

So I decided to try out the ASUS P6T since newegg had one open box for 167. At first try, the CPU wouldn't recognize one channel of RAM, so I took out the CPU and noticed a couple of pins bent on the socket. I straightened them out and now everything is ok. I guess I know why it is open box...

So Gigabyte sent me something to test... here are the teaser pics.

does it really matter what size water lines you run with a setup like this? I'm pretty sure you can still transfer plenty of heat away from stuff with those size water lines.

    Post your SuperPi Score!

I just run my i7-920 at stock clock to get a superpi 1M result of 14.9 seconds. I wonder why yours does 17.

DDR2 prices might be going up

it wouldn't surprise me if it did. DDR3 is getting ridiculously cheap now days, and most systems (intel socket 775, 1366 and even new AMD) can be built, provided the right motherboards are selected, using DDR3 RAM.

    Post your SuperPi Score!

ah I see, I'll have to look into it. I traded an E8400, E1200, P35-DS3R, and an 8600GTS for the Vapochill a while back, but haven't really messed with it much.

    Post your SuperPi Score!

btw I have an ASUS mobo and some new G.Skill RAM coming in next week, so maybe I can get the i7920 into the 8's on air. I have a Vapochill but haven't really had time to mess with it much.
