You have to read the voltages with the card inside the system. I blew a capacitor measuring my voltage but luckily the card still works. You can get the potentiometers online or some RadioShacks carry them. The volt mod is to increase the core and memory voltage thus allowing you to overclock...

The only thing penciled on the GPU is the ram as its not worth it to solder something when you can pencil it. I have the RAM penciled at about 2.3-2.35v. I will be picking up more parts later today and hopefully will do both cards. ~Tim

Yeah the previous poster is right. For example I have 3 8800GTX's. My foxconn OC's really well, my XFX is ok, and the EVGA wont go past 25mhz over stock without BSOD'ing my system. If you really want to get the most out of your card overclocking wise then look into an aftermarket cooling system...
