I think the windowscalendar folder in task scheduler is corrupt. How do i fix this?

Anyone please? its really driving me nuts.

i dont think that has anything to do with the task scheduler. This is not one of those annoying security popups, its an actual error message.

Do you have the router hooked into your desktop and then your cable modem hooked into your wireless router? Or do you have the cable modem hooked to your computer through USB and then the router hooked into your modem? or do you not even have it hooked to a desktop?

Yup, like right now my RAM usage is 30% after restarting, running AIM, IE7 and my lexmark and norton are running in the background along with the system programs. My CPU is 1%. Should go up today as i use it more though.

vista also uses msconfig. I know for sure it works on 98, xp and vista, i dont remember if it did on 95. those are the only ones ive used. Im always editing my registry or using msconfig, theyre pretty useful.

Yeah crypt, my cpu usage isnt all that much either, sometimes it jumps but for the most part it stays in the single digits or low double digits.

Yeah, im running 2 gigs of ram on my computer. When i clean off and restart my comp it reads lower also. It actually reads better now that i installed norton internet security 2007 than it did when i had mcafee or the others i tried. Really the only things i run constantly are AIM, the software...

I have an onboard graphics card, could that be part of the reason the ram is reading high? My CPU reads low like 5% or less most of the time, i have a dual core.

Hey, as im looking at the ram/cpu gadget the ram part seems to be running on an average of 44%. Is that good? Sometimes its lower around 42 sometimes its as high as 45, ive seen it at 52 once, but its settled down now. 44 seems to be the mean.

Try restarting in safe mode by pressing f8 until the menu pops up then select safe mode. see if you can delete it in there.

program files in windows vista. I downloaded a microsoft data collection control and dont need it, and now when i click on it and go to remove program file from the file menu or delete it doesnt work. is there a trick to it?

Nobody running vista can open up task scheduler? I find that hard to believe...

Can somebody else running vista go into task scheduler and tell me they get that message so i can eliminate vista glitches as a possibility?

they recommend 1 gig but in reality, 2 is more realistic

i would upgrade your ram to 2 gigs at least.
