ok did ccleaner and removed 180mb and tdsskiller found nothing

combofix doesn't seem to be working - in safemode the harddrive light is actually on whereas in normal it wasn't but it seems to have frozen will leave for a while but don't think it is working.

i'll try running it in safe mode and i had done malwarebytes before running it

combofix is still running - well over an hour - should i just leave it going?

i'm still waiting for the combofix to go taking longer than 20mins though

I'm got a monitor from a friend that has had it sitting around as i need one for a old computer i'm giving away but the monitor wouldn't plug in and turns out it is a ega connection. Does anyone know if i can get an ega to vga adapter or if i would still be able to use this monitor? thanks.
