    Need a good freehost

Good luck... I doubt you'll be able to find what you want out of a free hosting service.

    how to buy a website

Online, you go to a registrar of your choice and pay the specified fee to "rent" the domain name you want for a certain amount of time. Then you'll have to rent a server for your site to be hosted on. Some registrars offer hosting in addition to domain name registering, or you can go through a...

    Made a big mistake!!

I've heard you can put keyboards through the dishwasher and it won't hurt anything as long as they dry out well enough before you use them again.

reliable online place to buy a printer

I've bought every computer component from Newegg, and I've had a lot of success through them. They aren't always the one with the lowest price on particular parts, but the prices are still very reasonable and worth paying the little difference for their excellent service. Shipping is wonderful...

    gaming computer?

It was a sarcastic question. I'm sorry, I was just in a crappy mood when I posted and I felt like I was being called a dummy that supposedly I didn't know that games don't have cores. But anyway... onto other things, with the post about games being multi-cored... I meant that games are...

    Psu choice

Get a PSU with a 24-pin ATX connector and at least 450 watts.

    will it work

No, there are different kinds of PSUs. The most common ones today are ATX PSUs with a 20-pin ATX connector that goes to the motherboard. However, there are older style motherboards without the 20-pin ATX connector. Also, P4 motherboards have another connector (I don't know what it's called)...

    Windows ME - Reinstalling

Oh nevermind... I was thinking of Office 2003. That has the three-key limit. I guess XP has no limit...

    Windows ME - Reinstalling

You can upgrade from Home to Pro, but it might make things pretty messy. It's pretty much just reinstalling Windows over the top of your current installation. I would suggest to back up your files and reformat, then install Pro. In the end, it'll be worth the extra effort. Also, with the CD...

Build on a bufget.... trying to get it done for under $600

PC World has said it's definately better to spend just a little more money and get the 3500+ over the 3200+. As far as PSU wattage, I would suggest getting at least a 450 watt. For the RAM, the XMS will run faster than the ValueSelect, but you won't really notice much difference that it'll be...

Will I be able to put a vid card into this system?

Well onboard video is just built into the motherboard. However, this doesn't prevent you from putting in a different video card in one of the expansion slots.

    Windows ME - Reinstalling

Okay, yes, this is legal. As long as you don't have the same CD key on more than one computer, you can use the same key over and over again on just one computer. With XP, you only have three chances to use the key over, and then you have to contact Microsoft and ask them for a new key. I...

Go into your BIOS and see if you have the boot sequence correct. Also, if you have a disk in your drive, take it out.

    There's a difference between "mulithreading" and "multi-cored".
