i doubt its a cord but its always a good idea to test little things liek that, and ive never even ehard of commands like that im gonna copy and paste that for future refference

well we need more info, but i had a similar problem and i just reset my mobo took out the battery cause it would not recognise HD, so i wnet and got a 31/2 floppy with a boot on it and i was gonna use that but it just started working on its own, so sometimes its just a matter of giving bios...
