that's wayyyy overpriced and it won't play your video games well. You should consider building your own. For a budget of $1000 it would make much more sense.
The first digit correlates to the generation. And the next 3 digits refer to the model. Lower numbered cards like the 8300 are made to be low performance so if you a high performance card of the previous generation like the 7800, it will be faster.

well he might want to buy a 939 so he can have a working computer for $45. and since he said he only wants to use it temporarily i wouldnt suggest putting any more money into than needed.
