you can play some newer games if you have them set on 1024x768 or lower and on low settings (doom 3, hl2, etc.). You're memory is the only thing that's holding you back. if you upgraded to a dual channel (2x512mb or 2x1gb) you could play better (higher framerates with higher graphics detail).
